Mayan Abdominal Massage
The Mayans believe the west has forgotten the benefit of touch when it comes to healing the organs. Though many of us instinctively turn to massage when our back or shoulder has an ache, we rarely consider it for our internal systems. Join Sami for a Mayan abdominal session, and enjoy the long term benefits of abdominal massage. These massages last an hour, and integrate emotional release, as well as returning organs to their proper placement for optimized function. Sami was trained by Mayan elders in the Guatemalan town of Jaibalito. Some known benefits of abdominal massage are:
-
improve organ function
-
realign organs to optimal position
-
improve function of five primary health systems
-
release stored emotion and stress
-
reduce inflammation
-
improve digestive function
-
heal indigestion and acid reflux
-
prevent prostate enlargement
-
reduce painful or irregular periods
-
improve fibroids and endometriosis
-
improve fertility and libido
-
correct or prevent prolapsed organs
-
improve urinary and bladder issues
-
realign displaced uterus

Somatic Fascial Release
Our fascial network is responsible for holding all of our movement patterns, memories, trauma, and
brain body connection. Living as a thick rubber-band-like mycelial network under our skin, it can get
stuck and rigid, wreaking havoc through chronic pain, digestive issues, stuck emotion, and even long
term injuries. In this workshop we will use fascial maneuvers to smooth out the fascia, releasing what
is no longer serving our bodies and minds, and creating fluidity, flexibility and malleability in this
network of the body.

Yoni Relational Reclamation
For anyone looking to repair their relationship with the sacred space of the yoni. The session will take an educational, trauma informed, and somatic approach to exploring and releasing old narratives, shame, and grief, around the space of the yoni, and reclaiming the relationship to the yoni. Guided somatic exercises will hold space to release stored emotion, and
bring new awareness to this space in the body.

Yoni is a sanskrit word that refers to the center of the shakti, or center of creation in physical anatomy. This space has historically been represented by all of the physical organs representing birth
and creation, as well as the energetic center of our creative consciousness and energy.
